Into the Goblin Lair Goblin Lair; Goblin Valley State Park

90 ft Rappel into the a small cavern with an easy walk out.

You walk past the white temples in goblin valley and drop down into a narrow canyon, which honestly had one rough drop that made us wonder if we were going the right way. The state park people weren’t all that helpful in finding it, but a nice guy helped us find the path down.

It was my first time setting up a rappel… I think it might have been the first time I rappelled outside…. yah… not the smartest thing I have ever done but I did my homework and I was passed of by some experienced friends.. :/.

There were three brand new webbing around the rock. I say that it takes about 10 foot of webbing. Again… I have very little experience.
