Milford Sound: New Zealand Greenstone Track, Capels Track, Routeburn Track, Fiordland National Park

If you were to walk off one of the cliffs over Milford Sound you could free fall over 4,000 feet. On the inverse, kayaking through the fijord, the nearly vertical view of the mountains is awe inspiring. Those times when you try and think of something to relax your mind to go to sleep-  I try and remember one specific moment when I looked back at the view the mountains and the waterfall. It makes you breath in deeply….   I want to go back.

We booked our kayaks through Milford Sound Lodge. We camped (cheaper) at Milford Sound Lodge and therefore got a better deal for the kayaks. We were able to use their showers and washing machines. This was a great rest day before heading back onto the trails and the Greenstone Track.
